Information for Vermont Prescribers of Prescription Drugs

This site is made available in accordance with Vermont law, 33 V.S.A. 2005a. This law requires pharmaceutical marketers to disclose the prices of the drugs they market as well as the prices of other drugs in the same therapeutic class to any Vermont physician, hospital, nursing home, pharmacist, health benefit plan administrator, or any other person authorized to prescribe, dispense or purchase prescription drugs. This disclosure has to be in writing and shall include the Average Wholesale Price (AWP) per pill and the price relationship between the drug being marketed and other drugs within the same “therapeutic class”.

The prices listed are the Average Wholesale Price (AWP) per pill, as calculated from data published by First Databank (FDB). In accordance with the Vermont law, pricing information is provided for the smallest package size available for each drug strength listed on the price sheet, excluding unit dose packages (that is, excluding, for example, "blister packs" with tear-off strips). The price paid by consumers or other parties may be higher or lower than the prices listed.

Information provided through this site is administrative only pursuant to Vermont law and makes no claims of efficacy or safety about any product listed. Please refer to each product’s FDA-approved label and indication for further information.

This page contains the short forms for all current Genentech pill products. If the long form is requested, access to the long form is available at https://www.vtrxlaw.com/
